Refund policy

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order — for any reason and without giving justification. This right applies to all consumer purchases made online in accordance with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (Forbrugeraftaleloven).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us by email at store@bonhaga.com before the withdrawal period expires. You may also use the model withdrawal form provided by law, though this is not mandatory.


Returning your item

After notifying us, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of your decision to withdraw.

You are responsible for paying the direct cost of returning the goods.

Items returned without prior notice will not be accepted.


Condition of Returned Items
You may inspect the goods to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning — as you would in a physical store.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.

Products must be returned, when possible, in their original packaging and with proof of purchase.


Refunds
 
Once we receive your withdrawal notice and the returned items, we will process your refund within 14 days.
However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or proof that they have been returned — whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the refund itself.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund on their end.

If more than 15 business days have passed since you were notified of your refund, please contact us at store@bonhaga.com.

Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us immediately at store@bonhaga.com with photos and your order number.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven), which provides a two-year claim period (reklamationsret).


Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The following types of goods and services are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Danish and EU law:

  • Custom-made or personalized items.

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery.

  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

  • Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once the download or streaming has begun with your prior consent.

  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, the easiest method is to return it for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.
